HATTIESBURG, Miss. ( WHLT ) – The Southern Miss baseball and softball teams will host Trick or Treat at The Pete this year.

The event will be held from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. on Thursday, October 17 at Pete Taylor Park/Hill Denson Field.

Trick or Treat at The Pete is a free event that is open to all ages and will feature free candy and Halloween-themed games that will take place on the concourse as well as on the game field.

A costume contest will also be held, and winners will be chosen in the following categories including boy, girl, child under 3, and teen (13-19). In addition, organizers announced a dunking booth will be at this year’s event.

Members of the Southern Miss baseball and softball teams will be in attendance and sporting their best Halloween costumes. Costumes are encouraged!
