Boil water notice issued for 150 Perry County customers

PERRY COUNTY, Miss. ( WHLT ) – A boil water notice has been issued for 150 customers in Perry County.

Officials with the Mississippi State Department of Health (MSDH) said the notice affects customers on the Arlington Water Association-Hintonville east of Wingate Road.

According to officials, the notice was issued as the result of repair work performed on the water system.

Health officials strongly recommend that all water be boiled vigorously for one minute before it is consumed.

Residents will be notified immediately when the advisory is lifted. For more information, customers may contact 601.784.2055.
