PIKE COUNTY, Miss. ( WJTV ) – Two Mississippi schools played a football game with no fans in attendance on Friday, September 27.

South Pike and McComb High School played their Friday game five hours before the usual kickoff time due to safety concerns.

The decision was made after a large fight broke out at McComb High School earlier this week. Due to the fight, the Green and Gold Bowl did not have any fan participation.

The game was livestreamed, so parents and the Pike County community could watch the game.
