One seriously injured in two-vehicle crash in Jones County

JONES COUNTY, Miss. ( WHLT ) – One person was seriously injured during a two-vehicle crash in Jones County.

The crash occurred on Highway 84 and 184 at Wisteria Trail around 6:30 p.m. on Wednesday, October 2.

Officials with the Jones County Fire Council said firefighters found a Jeep and a Chevy Blazer involved in the crash.

The occupant of the Blazer sustained serious injuries. The two occupants of the Jeep denied injuries and declined transport to the hospital.

According to witnesses, the Jeep was traveling east on the highway, and the Blazer was attempting to cross the highway at the time of the crash.
