Three charged with attempted murder in Forrest County

FORREST COUNTY, Miss. ( WHLT ) – Forrest County deputies arrested three suspects in connection to an attempted murder case.

Deputies said the assault occurred on January 11, 2024, in the 7000 block of U.S. Highway 49.

Investigators said Robert Pittman, Jr., was initially arrested and charged with attempted murder on April 4, 2024.

On October 7, deputies arrested John Pittman and Randa Pittman in connection to the case. They were both charged with attempted murder and conspiracy.

Investigators believe the suspects conspired together to carry out an assault on the victim, who sustained serious bodily injury.
