Mississippi officer found passed out in patrol car with meth pipe

YAZOO CITY, Miss. ( WJTV ) – A Belzoni police officer was arrested after Yazoo City police said he was found passed out in a patrol car with a meth pipe in his hand.

Yazoo City Police Chief Terry Gann said James Jackson was arrested on Saturday, October 5. Gann said Jackson refused a sobriety test, and marijuana was found in the glovebox of his patrol car.

Jackson was charged with possession of paraphernalia and DUI-refusal. He has since been released on bond.
