MADISON, Miss. ( WJTV ) – The Madison community showed up in pink on Friday to remember the eight-year-old girl who died after being hit by a school bus.

Pink was the favorite color of Jeanelle Fredericks. Many gathered along Highway 51 at Cobblestone Drive to remember the young girl. She was described as a bubbly, joyful girl.

A meal train has been set up to help Fredericks’ family.
