    Boil water notice issued for Amite County customers

    AMITE COUNTY, Miss. ( WJTV ) – A boil water notice has been issued for all customers who are served by the North Central Amite Water Association.

    The notice was issued as the result of a switch tripping off at the water plant in Amite County.

    Dirt Cheap stores to close after parent company files for bankruptcy

    Health officials strongly recommend that all water be boiled vigorously for one minute before it is consumed.

    Residents will be notified immediately when the advisory is lifted. For more information, customers may contact their water system at 601-657-4444.
