OXFORD, Miss. ( WJTV ) – A trial is underway for an Oxford woman charged in the shooting death of her boyfriend in 2022.

The Oxford Eagle reported Alexandria Griste, 31, had been dating Cory Lyles, 29, for about a year and were living together at the time of the shooting. Prosecutors said the couple had a troubled relationship and were seen arguing at a softball game the day before the shooting.
