Vicksburg police arrest 3rd suspect for Speed Street shooting

VICKSBURG, Miss. ( WJTV ) – A third suspect has been arrested in connection to a shooting on Speed Street in Vicksburg.

Police said Corey Wilson, 23, of Vicksburg, appeared in Vicksburg Municipal Court on Wednesday, October 16, 2024, on a charge of drive-by shooting. His bond was set at $25,000.

The shooting occurred on October 1, 2024, near the intersection of Speed and Drummond Streets. An unidentified man was injured during the incident.

Police previously arrested Stuart Thomas , 24, and Nicholas Clay , 29, in connection to the shooting.
