Ridgeland man faces multiple charges after drug bust

RIDGELAND, Miss. ( WJTV ) – A Ridgeland man was arrested after a drug bust at a home.

Ridgeland police said they executed a search warrant at a home on Planters Grove on October 1, 2024.

Authorities seized 9.7 pounds of marijuana, 32 ounces of THC Wax, and 2.7 ounces of psilocybin mushrooms. They also recovered two handguns and two AR style pistols.

According to police, an 11-month-old child was found asleep in a bedroom within close proximity to the firearms and narcotics. Police notified Child Protective Services (CPS), and the child was placed into the custody of a family member.

Justyn Wilson, 26, was arrested and charged with trafficking a controlled substance, possession with intent to distribute, tampering with evidence, and child endangerment.
