    Natchez police investigate alleged hit-and-run

    NATCHEZ, Miss. ( WJTV ) – Natchez police are investigating an alleged hit-and-run that injured at least two people.

    The Natchez Democrat reported the incident occurred in the 800 block of N. Martin Luther King Jr. on Monday, October 14.

    Natchez police said two men, Travon Lyles and Anthony Jackson, got into an argument on a live stream before the incident. Both men alleged they were hit by another vehicle.

    Natchez Police Chief Cal Green told the newspaper that one man said the other left the scene, came back and hit him, while the other said an unknown driver hit them both. According to Green, both men did not have life-threatening injuries.

    The investigation is ongoing.
