MS 587 in Lawrence County to close for maintenance

LAWRENCE COUNTY, Miss. ( WJTV ) – Officials with the Mississippi Department of Transportation (MDOT) announced there will be a temporary closure on MS 587 in Lawrence County.

According to officials, MS 587 between Bethel Road and Divide Road will be closed for maintenance.

The closure will take place from Monday, October 21 to Wednesday October 23. MDOT officials said the road closure will take place from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. during those three days.

Drivers are encouraged to find an alternate route.
