Driver injured after car overturns near Jones County home

JONES COUNTY, Miss. ( WHLT ) – A driver was injured after a vehicle overturned in the driveway of a Jones County home.

The crash occurred in the 200 block of Magnolia Road just before 5:00 p.m. on Friday, October 18.

Officials with the Jones County Fire Council said firefighters found a red SUV on its side in the middle of a driveway of a home. The driver, who was a minor, had minor injuries.

According to officials, the vehicle did not him the home, but it came to rest near it. The driver was transported to a local hospital.
