    Allergy alert: Chocolate Chip cookie recall

    (WJW) – Chocolate Chip cookies sold at Meijer stores in six states are being recalled because an ingredient, that can cause serious or life-threatening allergic reactions, was not properly labeled, according to the U.S. Food and Drug Administration .

    The recall , announced by Too Good Gourmet of San Lorenzo, CA, is due to ‘undeclared milk’ in 10 oz. containers of ‘Meijer Dunking Cookies Chocolate Chip.’

    Allergy Alert: Frozen dessert recalled in Ohio

    The cookies were sold at Meijer stores in Michigan, Indiana, Illinois, Ohio , Kentucky, and Wisconsin. The FDA states Meijer was not notified of the label inaccuracy.

    • All Best if Used By codes are included in this recall

    According to the FDA, so far, neither Too Good Gourmet or Meijer have received any customer complaints or claims of illness associated with this recall.
