Chase through Northeast Ohio hits speeds of 140 mph

(WJW) – Troopers with the Ohio State Highway Patrol pursued a driver Thursday who was traveling at dangerous speeds.

Just before 2 a.m. on I-90, an Audi SUV hit speeds of 140 mph on I-90, according to FOX 8 crews.

The chase went through the Innerbelt curve and into Maple Heights.

That’s where law enforcement terminated the pursuit, as the suspect vehicle was running red lights at high speeds.

The chase lasted about 20 minutes.

There’s no word on what started the chase or if the driver was caught.
