Need a job this fall? Cedar Point hiring ahead of HalloWeekends

SANDUSKY, Ohio (WJW) – With spooky season approaching fast, Cedar Point is looking to make some hires ahead of its annual HalloWeekends.

The theme park is hosting a fall hiring event at the Cedar Point Hiring and Training Center, 2206 Cleveland Road, in Sandusky on Monday, Aug. 19.

The event kicks off at 4 p.m. and continues until 7 p.m.

Potential applicants are invited to attend and learn more about available fall positions, with most starting at $20 an hour.

These positions include culinary services, housekeeping, ride operations and park services, to name a few.

Recruiters will be on-site conducting interviews and hiring new employees on the spot, Cedar Point officials say.

Everyone who applies and is hired during the event will also get a free food voucher for one of the available food trucks.

“With Cedar Point’s weekend operation in the fall, everyone from high school and college students to career professionals and retirees will find a wide variety of positions with flexible scheduling,” park officials said in a press release.

Cedar Point associates also enjoy perks such as in-park discounts, free tickets for family members and friends and some on-site housing (if you qualify).

Also, since the merger became official early last month , associates have free admission to any Six Flags theme park.
