Video: Vehicle smashes through Bedford Heights home with family inside

BEDFORD HEIGHTS, Ohio (WJW) — A car smashed through a Bedford Heights home late Sunday afternoon, thoroughly scaring the family who was reportedly inside at the time.

“We were playing in the living room, about to leave for the park, when we heard screeching, a knocking sound through our garage and then we saw out of our bay window a car going through our yard and into a levee,” Benjamin Valentine told FOX 8 News.

Doorbell video captured by a neighbor showed the vehicle roll through the house on Meadow Lane around 5 p.m.

No one inside the home was injured, but Valentine said the driver of the vehicle was taken to the hospital.

FOX 8 reached out to Bedford Heights police for more on this story.
