(WJW) – The National Weather Service has issued a beach hazard statement that says swimmers should stay out of parts of Lake Erie due to a “high risk of rip currents.” A Small Craft Advisory is also in effect.

FOX 8 Meteorologist Scott Sabol reports that Monday will be breezy with north winds at 15 to 20 mph in the afternoon. The gusty north winds will make Lake Erie rather choppy.
