NE Ohio grad posts impressive score in golf event

WHITE SULPHUR SPRINGS, WV (WKBN) – Warren JFK high school graduate Jason Kokrak records third in the LIV Golf Greenbrier event at The Greenbrier in White Sulphur Springs, West Virginia, Sunday afternoon.

Kokrak shot -18 across three rounds at the Greenbriar. In his final round, he totaled 63 for a score of -7 with seven birdies.

Brooks Koepka was the winner at -19, as he edged out Jon Rahm.

The Warren JFK grad is a member of the Smash GC LIV team with Koepka and others. The Smash GC team took the win at the Greenbriar with a combined score of -53.

Kokrak sits in 32nd place in the LIV standings with 28.58 points.

The Valley native tees off next at LIV Golf Chicago at the Bolingbrook Golf Club in Illinois, Sept. 13 through 15.
