Louisville woman wins $40K in Mega Millions drawing

LOUISVILLE, Ohio (WJW) – A Northeast Ohio woman is $40,000 richer after paying the Mega Millions on Tuesday.

The lucky winner used auto-pick to select her numbers and matched four out of the five white balls and the Mega Ball to win $10,000, according to a press release from Mega Millions.

With the Megaplier, the Louisville woman’s $10,000 prize was multiplied by four for a total prize of $40,000.

Tuesday night’s winning numbers were 5-20-26-49-51 with Mega Ball 24.

The ticket was purchased at the West Main Drive Thru located at 161 W. Main St. in Louisville.

If it’s won, Friday’s $527 million jackpot will be the 13th largest prize in the history of the Mega Millions .

Mega Millions tickets are $2 each. The Megaplier can also be added for an additional $1.

The next drawing will be held on Friday at 11 p.m.
