SOUTH EUCLID, Ohio (WJW) – Zach Weprin has dreamed of a day like this for a long time, but it was a dream forged in the fire of hard times.
“I have been a cannabis consumer a long time. I was diagnosed with Crohn’s disease at 12 years old. It’s been helpful for me,” Zach explained.
Jelly Roll stopped by Coast Guard leaving Put-In-Bay: Here’s why So, when medical marijuana became legal in the state of Ohio, Zach and his father got together to open their very own dispensary called Certified Cultivators.
“We went into this with the mentality of why not us. We are one of the few locally owned businesses of its kind in Ohio and we have been growing steadily since 2020,” he said.
Then, Issue 2 passed last year, and their small business went boom.
So much so that on Friday, Zach hosted a grand opening for their newest shop located in South Euclid.
Experience has taught Zach a valuable lesson: it’s vital to hit the ground running.
So to stand out, he’s come up with an idea that appears to be the first of its kind in the Buckeye state.
“Drive thru was a part of issue 2 that all of us Ohioans voted on and it’s a convenient way for customers to receive their product,” explained Zach.
When we think drive through, usually a fast-food chain comes to mind.
But this drive through will operate more like a pharmacy, where customers place their order online before pickup.

Because once they get you to stop by, he’s confident you’ll stay.
“We get everything third party tested many times throughout the plan,t and it is just nice that we can safely purchase cannabis that is safe for all of us.”
