Browns trade defensive tackle: Here’s what they’ll get

CLEVELAND, Ohio (WJW) – The Cleveland Browns are trading a defensive tackle and a 7th-round pick in 2025 in exchange for a 6th-round pick.

The Browns announced the trade deal with the Chicago Bears in a Saturday morning press release .

FOX 8’s John Sabol posted on X that defense tackle Chris Williams, who will now head to the Bears pending a physical, had been on Cleveland’s practice squad since December.

According to ESPN , the 26-year-old from New York is in his 3rd season with the NFL and has played for the Kansas City Chiefs, Indianapolis Colts, the Cleveland Browns, and now the Chicago Bears.
