Kitten named Turbo Rinse after harrowing rescue from Ohio car wash

WASHINGTON COURT HOUSE, Ohio (WJW) — One Ohio cat is looking for a new home after being rescued from inside an active car wash.

The orange feline was found at the Ultimate Shine Car Wash in Washington Court House (about 40 minutes southwest of Columbus) after reportedly being spotted by an employee who heard an unusual noise.

Following some meowing further into the car wash tunnel, the employee described finding the cat “wet and shaking,” in a Facebook statement .

The Fayette Regional Humane Society, who took the animal in following the rescue, believes the cat rolled into the car wash from underneath a vehicle.

“When the car entered the wash, the powerful turbo blasters likely flushed the kitten out from its hiding spot and into the path of the high-pressure water jets,” the humane society posted on Facebook .

Following the rescue, the adorable kitten was dubbed Turbo Rinse, and was being treated for a cold prior to being put up for adoption. Find out more about the humane society and Turbo Rinse right here.
