Trial underway for man accused of killing 4, including pregnant woman in Cleveland

CLEVELAND (WJW) — The Fox 8 I-Team is now tracking new developments to finally explain what happened to four people found dead in a home in Cleveland.

After nearly five years, the suspected killer is now on trial.

Terrill Silver said very little as he sat next to his attorneys in a Cuyahoga County courtroom during opening statements.

Silver is charged with several charges including aggravated murder. He is accused of killing four people, including a pregnant woman in September 2019.

During opening statements, prosecutors told jurors that the evidence will show Silver is guilty of all the charges.

Silver, however, has maintained his innocence. His attorneys say there will be no evidence that shows Silver is guilty.

The victims were dentified as Dejuan Damar Willis, Ayanna Quitman, Christopher Monroe and Jazmyne Lawson.

The trial continues Wednesday. It is expected to last about four days.
