Melt Bar and Grilled reopens in Lakewood; last location left

LAKEWOOD, Ohio (WJW) — Following a “large scale and ambitious renovation,” Melt Bar and Grilled reopened its original Lakewood location Monday. It is the last Melt standing after the company filed for bankruptcy earlier this year .

Along with the renovation of the interior, the menu has also gotten an upgrade. But don’t worry, there are still grilled cheese sandwiches, just not as many as before (as seen on the full menu here ).

The move comes after being shutdown for a full week.

“It has truly been a humbling and amazing experience,” Chef and owner Matt Fish said in a previous Facebook post. “I am looking forward to seeing everyone and launching the new era of Melt Bar and Grilled very soon.”

At its height, Melt, which opened in 2006 , operated nearly a dozen restaurants across the state. Click here for more about the restaurant.
