Cleveland officials said the meeting was part of the ongoing negotiations between the Browns and the city about the future of the team’s stadium.

The city wants the stadium to stay downtown. Officials with the Browns say they are still trying to decide to either make major renovations at the existing stadium or move to Brook Park and build a stadium with a dome. Browns officials have not said when they will announce a decision.
