Students surprise custodian with dream car

VIENNA, Virginia (WJW) – A high school custodian was left in awe this week when students from the school where he works surprised him with his dream car.

Francis Apraku dropped to the ground when he saw the vehicle – a cherry-red Jeep Wrangler.

A group of sophomores started a fundraising campaign for Apraku in May.

“He moved to America away from his family and friends a few years ago. Ever since we met Francis, he has been super kind and friendly and sometimes even says prayers for us,” the boys wrote on their GoFundMe page.

Initially, the group planned to meet their fundraising goal by the time they graduated, but they surpassed expectations in just four months.
