Cothran dropped his unresponsive 1-year-old baby girl off at the hospital. She was flown to a Pittsburgh hospital where she died several days later. Officials said the autopsy findings showed acute fentanyl toxicity.

Cothran will be sentenced by Judge John Vavra on Oct. 15, and he could get up to 16 years behind bars.
