    Winning lottery ticket worth $500K sold in Warrensville Heights

    WARRENSVILLE HEIGHTS, Ohio (WJW) – A lucky winner is celebrating after purchasing a $500,000 scratch-off lottery ticket from a Warrensville Heights convenience store.

    According to Ohio Lottery , Hany Jaffal bought the winning ticket from the Shop Express in the 3900 block of Warrensville Center Road.

    How much do Ohio lottery winners really get after taxes?

    After federal and state taxes, Jaffal will take home about $360,000, according to lottery officials.

    The $10 scratch-off game, called Psychedelic Payout , still has three top prizes worth $500,000 available, as of Monday. Learn more about it and other Ohio Lottery games right here .

    So, what about the big lottery games? Someone just won Tuesday night’s $800 million Mega Millions jackpot. Meanwhile, the Powerball jackpot sits at $134 million.
