Ben & Jerry’s readying voters ahead of the election with a new flavor

(WJW) — With the election just around the corner, Ben & Jerry’s is hoping to rally voters with a new flavor.

The ice cream giant recently released its limited time Churn Out the Vote flavor. According to its website, the flavor is a mix of vanilla ice cream with pretzel swirls, fudge chips and swirls of chocolate mousse.

Ben & Jerry’s supports several social justice movements , according to its website, ranging from climate awareness to LGBTQ rights.

Going along with its new flavor, the company said “When you vote for what you believe in, you can churn up a whole lot of justice for your community.”

The website also lists several tips and advice for voters like the rules and requirements before casting a ballot, knowing your rights as a voter and what to do if you experience voter intimidation.
