‘The prettiest lil thing’: Rapper Cardi B welcomes new baby girl

(WJW) — Sharing a set of pictures and videos from her hospital room on Instagram , Cardi B announced she has given birth to a baby girl.

The award-winning rapper captioned the post “the prettiest lil thing” followed by flower emojis and the date 9/7/24, presumably the date the baby was born.

The post also showed pictures of her husband, rapper Offset, from whom she has filed for divorce, and the couple’s other two children, Wave and Kulture, holding the new addition to their family.

A host of fellow artists offered their congratulations in the post’s comments including Megan Thee Stallion and Yung Miami.

Cardi B announced her third pregnancy in early August, just days after filing for divorce from Offset. According to court records , Cardi B is seeking primary custody of her children, including the newborn.

no you need half half custody off set need to be in the kids life. stop holding grudes it's about the kids. the only way they give newborn full custody is if she breast feeding .
