1 dead after I-90 crashes in Cleveland

CLEVELAND (WJW) – One person has died after two separate crashes occurred on Interstate 90 in Cleveland Friday evening.

The crashes happened at 6:26 p.m. and 7:11 p.m. on I-90/State Route 2 near E. 55th Street.

Cleveland police officials confirmed the first crash was fatal.

According to the Ohio Department of Transportation , the right three westbound lanes were previously closed in the area because of the crashes. The roadway has since reopened.

What is a damn shame is the city and the citizens of Cleveland, know that area is very dangerous, hence the name. This is the original deadman's turn. Please drive safer people, that lane change isn't worth your life.
