Weekend weather: It’s still summer in NE Ohio

CLEVELAND (WJW) – Saturday night will be clear and mild. Overnight lows will be on either side of 60 degrees.

The last Sunday of summer will be very summer-like. Sunday is going to be sunny and warm, especially for the middle of September. Highs on Sunday will be in the mid 80s.

Sunday will be a great day to be at the ballpark. The Guardians will wrap up their series against the Rays at 1:40 p.m. on Sunday at Progressive Field.

This stretch of 80 degree plus weather will continue into next week. The last time we had stretch this long in September was 7 years ago.

Overall, next week looks dry too. The only chance of rain will come midweek as moisture from an area of low pressure that develop near the Carolinas slowly moves north. Here’s the latest 8-Day Forecast:
