FORECAST: Fall arrives soon, but summer won’t let go

(WJW) – Monday is another mostly sunny day with highs in the mid-80s. Keep in mind that the average high for this time of year is 76°.

This will be our sixth day above 80°. We forget how cool it was a week ago.

Clouds will be on the increase Monday night into Tuesday. Despite increasing clouds, Tuesday looks like it is going to be another dry day.

Tropical Storm Helene is forecast to develop off the Carolina Coast on Monday. The remnants of Helene will track north across the Mid-Atlantic early this week and could get close enough to Northeast Ohio to bring in scattered rain showers on Wednesday.

Rain amounts look to stay under 0.1″ and mainly across the south and east parts of northern Ohio.

The end of the workweek looks dry and warm. Highs on Friday will be near 80°. We will say goodbye to summer and hello to fall next weekend.
