Man found guilty of killing 4 people, including pregnant teen, in Cleveland

CLEVELAND (WJW) – A man has been found guilty of killing four people in a Cleveland home back in September 2019.

Jurors reached a verdict Monday afternoon in a trial for 35-year-old Terrell Silver , who was accused of killing four people, including a teenager who was five and a half months pregnant.

Silver was found guilty of seven counts of aggravated murder, four counts of murder, five counts of felonious assault, one count of attempted murder and one count of attempted burglary.

He will be sentenced at a later time at the Cuyahoga County Justice Center. An assistant prosecutor told FOX 8 they are pushing for a life sentence without parole.

Prosecutors said Silver was in a home with the four victims near East 144 ^th St. and Kinsman Rd. in Cleveland sometime between September 7, 2019, and September 21, 2019.

The decomposing bodies of the victims were discovered by officers with the Cleveland Division of Police on September 21, 2019.

The victims were identified as 20-year-old Dejuan Damar Willis, 19-year-old Aiyanna Quitman, 23-year-old Christopher Monroe and 18-year-old Jazmyne Lawson.

“Today’s conviction is a significant step in justice for Jazmyne Lawson, Aiyanna Quitman, Dejuan Damar Willis, and Christopher Monroe,” said Prosecutor Michael O’Malley. “This case took several years of hard work by law enforcement, and this demonstrates victims will not be forgotten in Cuyahoga County.”

Jurors got the case just before 1:30 p.m.
