10 places to get free car washes this weekend in NE Ohio

(WJW) – Whistle Express Car Wash is new to Northeast Ohio, and it is celebrating the opening of its 10 new locations with free car washes!

According to a press release, all ten locations will offer free car washes on Saturday, Sept. 21 until 2 p.m. In addition, the company is offering deals, donations, and other giveaways including tickets to the Monsters ‘ home opener and Cleveland Metroparks Zoo passes.

Here’s the rundown:

Friday, Sept. 20

• 11 a.m. – Ribbon cutting ceremony at Avon location (1505 Traveler’s Point) with North Coast Chamber of Commerce and presentation of $5,000 donation to Prayers from Maria.
• 11 a.m. – Ribbon cutting ceremony at Mentor location (7350 Palisades Pkwy) with Mentor Area Chamber of Commerce.

Saturday, Sept. 21

• Avon and Medina locations to host ticket giveaways for Monsters’ home opener and Metroparks Zoo passes.
• 11 a.m. – 1:30 p.m. – Avon location to host Prayers from Maria ice cream truck
• 10 a.m. – 2 p.m. – Medina location to host Travelin’ Toms Coffee truck
• Free car wash at any location until 2 p.m.

In addition, the company said, they will offer their ‘best’ washes at a reduced price of $15 on Sept. 20 and 21, with an additional opportunity to buy a wash and get the next 30 days free.
