Tree falls on school bus with students aboard in Ohio

WEST CHESTER, Ohio (WDTN) — A tree fell on a school bus with students aboard in Butler County on Friday afternoon.

According to West Chester Police, a tree fell on a Lakota Local school bus on Sept. 27. When the tree fell, wires reportedly also fell.

Students were on the bus, and are being kept on it as a safety precaution until crews from Duke Energy arrive at the scene. No injuries have been reported.

“Parents are being asked not to come to the scene,” said a spokesperson for West Chester Police Department.

The bus is expected to return to its route shortly.
