Most Cuyahoga Co. FirstEnergy customers’ power restored

GARFIELD HEIGHTS, Ohio (WJW) — Nearly 1,500 FirstEnergy customers were without power around 3:30 p.m. Saturday afternoon in Cuyahoga County , specifically in the Garfield Heights and Lakewood areas.

It was not clear what led to the power outages but the company is aware and is working to get everything back up and running by 6:30 p.m., according to their website . They were able to get most power back by 5 p.m.

Remnants of Hurricane Helene is expected to continue hitting our area , but severe weather is not anticipated.
