FORECAST: First frost advisory of the season

(WJW) – The first Frost Advisory of the season has been issued for several Northeast Ohio counties ahead of a chilly night. The advisory will take effect for most counties at midnight and remain in effect until 9 a.m. on Friday. CLICK HERE to see the counties impacted.

Meteorologist Scott Sabol says it’s the first frost advisory since April 24.

But first, more sunshine and dry weather today. Highs will climb into the low to mid-60s.

Looking ahead, temperatures warm above 70° on Friday and Saturday. The warmth is short-lived. By Sunday, another cold front sweeps through with showers starting late Saturday into Sunday.

Temperatures will drop Sunday night and into early next week.

An inch of much-needed rain is possible by Tuesday.
