    Local store sells $50,000 scratch-off winner

    NORTH CANTON, Ohio (WJW) – So you’re telling me there’s a chance.

    An Ohio Lottery player recently tried their luck at the Gem 10s scratch-off game, and it paid off.

    A ticket sold at BJ’s Wholesale Club in North Canton was worth $50,000.

    How to win the lottery in Ohio, according to the numbers

    After taxes, the winner will take home around $36,000.

    Gem 10s is a $10 scratch-off with a top prize of $500,000.

    According to the Ohio Lottery , three top prizes remain in the game.
