Man ejected from car in fatal Medina County crash

CHATHAM TOWNSHIP, Ohio (WJW) – A man has died after being ejected from his vehicle while driving in Medina County and failing to stop at a stop sign Friday morning.

According to a press release from the Medina County Sheriff’s Office , the department received a call about a crash involving a GMC Sierra and semi truck at 8:25 a.m.

According to the caller, the driver of the GMC, later identified as Brent Ogg of Orrville, was ejected from the vehicle.

According to the release, it was found that Ogg failed to stop at the stop sign on Vandemark Chatham Roads. That is when the vehicle was hit by a semi-truck heading west on Chatham Rd.

Ogg was taken to Lodi Hospital where he was pronounced dead, according to the release.
