PHOTOS: Guardians, fans celebrate after Game 5 win

CLEVELAND (WJW) – They’re moving on, Cleveland! The Guardians defeated the Detroit Tigers in Game 5, meaning they’re proceeding to the ALCS.

The team and avid fans alike celebrated after the big win at Progressive Field Saturday afternoon.

Fans swarmed Progressive Field ahead of Game 5, donning Cleveland gear to show support for the AL Central champs.

Cleveland is now one step closer to its goal of end a 76-year World Series title drought.

The Guardians will face off against the New York Yankees starting on Monday.
