Running back Greg Pruitt on another tough loss for the Browns

CLEVELAND (WJW) –  It was another bad afternoon for the Cleveland Browns Sunday after losing a sloppy game to the Washington Commanders.

Our Monday morning running back Greg Pruitt is here to talk about yet another tough loss.

It’s like Groundhog Day. Fans get excited about the Browns possibly turning things around, then they break everyone’s hearts.

“This is self-inflicted wounds,” Pruitt said. “We can’t keep saying we’re going to go back to the drawing board, we’re going to get it together. It’s time for some kind of change.”

The team fell to 1-and-5 Sunday after the struggling Philadelphia Eagles outlasted them. The final score was 20 to 16.

Deshaun Watson had another uninspired game that failed to spark any offense. In fact, the only touchdown was scored by special teams on a blocked field goal.

Despite the lack of offense, the team is sticking with Watson as their quarterback.

Pruitt, seemingly at a loss for what the Browns can do next to save the season, said, “I want to flip it over to the fans. What can we do as fans?”

One thing is for sure: Cleveland Browns fans will always be loyal, win or lose.
