    Will mail be delivered on Columbus Day?

    (WJW) – There are only a handful of days each year that mail is not delivered by the United States Postal Service. Columbus Day is one of them.

    According to the USPS website , Columbus Day, which falls on October 14, 2024, is one of 11 days that post offices will be closed.

    In 2024, the USPS is expected to be closed on Veterans Day, Thanksgiving Day and Christmas Day to finish out the year’s holidays.

    Normal delivery and collection schedules are expected to resume on Oct. 15.

    Other mail delivery services including UPS , Amazon and FedEx are expected to deliver packages as usual on Columbus Day.
