Man, woman die inside vehicle after Cleveland shooting

CLEVELAND (WJW) – A man and a woman have both died after a shooting in Cleveland Sunday night.

According to Cleveland Division of Police Sgt. Wilfredo Diaz, officers were called to the 16000 block of Euclid Beach Boulevard around 11:30 p.m.

At the scene, officers found two victims who were unresponsive inside a vehicle.

“Both occupants appeared to have suffered gunshot wounds,” Diaz said.

Both victims, a 19-year-old man and a woman, were taken to university hospitals where they were pronounced dead, according to Diaz.

According to Diaz, officers at the scene learned that the shooting might have originally happened near the 16100 block of Lakeshore Avenue.

“Our Homicide Unit is actively investigating this incident,” Diaz told Fox 8 News.
