Man killed in Painesville motorcycle crash

PAINESVILLE, Ohio (WJW) – The Painesville Police Department is investigating after a man was killed in a motorcycle crash over the weekend.

Painesville officers responded to a crash involving a 1999 Harley Davidson on Roosevelt Drive around 10:46 p.m. on Saturday.

When they arrived, officers found the motorcyclist, identified as 31-year-old Frank Ladany, of Painesville Township, who died from his injuries.

“The Painesville Police Department expresses our condolences to the family and friends of Mr. Ladany,” the department said in a press release on Monday.

The crash remains under investigation at this time. Anyone with information is asked to call the Painesville Police Department at 440-392-5840.
