Ohioan wins $150K on Powerball ticket bought in Akron

AKRON, Ohio (WJW) – An Ohio Lottery player is about $150,000 richer after playing the Saturday Powerball game.

According to the Ohio Lottery , the winning ticket was purchased at Acme Fresh Market located on the 2400 block of Wedgewood Drive in Akron.

The winning ticket matched four of the five numbers with the Powerball to win the third-tier prize of $50,000. The winner also matched the Power Play number, which tripled their prize amount.

The winning numbers for Saturday’s drawing were 5-14-20-41-57 with Powerball 6 and Power Play 3.

The Acme store will now receive $1,000 for selling the ticket.

The next Powerball drawing will be held on Wednesday at 10:59 p.m. with an estimated jackpot of $408 million.
