Man wanted in double murder caught in local neighborhood

BEDFORD, Ohio (WJW) – A double murder suspect is in custody following an arrest by US Marshals.

According to a press release, marshals arrested Aric Ward, 34, in Bedford . He was wanted by the Cleveland Division of Police for two counts of murder.

Ward was arrested at a home in the 24800 block of Woodline Road.

According to investigators, Ward was wanted for the shooting deaths of Bralon Shepard, 26, and Sylvon Robinson, 27.

The two were killed on June 1 near E. 109 ^th St. and Prince Ave. They were found shot to death in a vehicle.

U.S. Marshal Pete Elliott praised the collaborative efforts between law enforcement agencies, stating, “The Cleveland Division of Police continues to work hard for its citizens, solving another homicide investigation. We are happy to work hand in hand with the dedicated officers of Cleveland Police to arrest violent fugitives and keep the city a safe place to live.”
