Travis Kelce expresses love, excitement for Cleveland Guardians

CLEVELAND (WJW) – Cleveland Heights native and NFL star Travis Kelce is expressing his love and excitement for the Guardians after their Thursday night win.

Kelce took to Twitter after the Guardians’  7-5 extra-innings win in Game 3 of the ALCS against the New York Yankees at Progressive Field.

“Playoff baseball baby!!! @CleGuardians have the city absolutely ROCKIN TONIGHT!! What a game!” Kelce said right after the game.

Kelce appeared with his girlfriend, Taylor Swift, at Game 1 of the ALCS. But he wasn’t wearing his Guardians gear. Rather, a black and white outfit with a baseball cap that said “Midnight Rodeo.”

Kelce also took to Twitter to clear the air about his sports fandom.

“I’ve been a Cleveland sports fan my entire life. Make it back to countless amount of games over the years both Guards and Cavs just to enjoy these memories with my friends and family, WIN OR LOSE!!… and I don’t wear Cleveland gear one time and all of a sudden I’m not a real fan?! Ask anybody that was in or around that suite on game 1 who I was cheering for, they’ll let you know I was there for the @CleGuardians ,” he said .

First pitch for Game 4 of the ALCS is at 8:08 p.m. at Progressive Field.
